Unleash your inner super hero as the Daviess County Public Library hosts super hero themed programs and activities all summer long.
It all kicks off with the “Pow! Bam! Zap!” Fair on Saturday, May 30th from 11am to 5pm. The fair will be an all-day event with crafts, face painting, vendor booths, a photo booth, role playing games, a costume contest (judging at 3pm) and a food truck from Pangea. There will also be presentations on Cosplay, the logic of imagination, comic history, a live art demonstration, and a panel of local film makers. While you’re there, be sure to sign up for the summer reading program for a chance for prizes.
Check the DCPL website for a full calendar of events, including several Daviess County Bicentennial exhibits, displays, and activities, a visit from the Western Kentucky Raptor Center (July 25th), a concert by King’s Highway (June 18th), and game nights.
