“Holiday in the Park” (at Legion Park) and “Christmas at Panther Creek” both begin Friday, November 21st and continue nightly until January 1st.
Saturday is of course the Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade starting at 4:30. The route this year runs along 2nd St. from Pearl to Locust.
The Owensboro Convention Center is hosting The Owensboro Christmas Show Fri, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sat, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sun, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Also, the Holiday Forest Festival of Trees continues through December 31st at the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art. Hours are Tue-Thu, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Fri, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sat-Sun, 1-4 p.m.
For youngsters, the Daviess County Public Library has a gingerbread design contest and decorating Christmas cards for veterans during library hours.
