The Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade Association held the 78th Annual Christmas parade themed “Christmas Miracles” Saturday afternoon, November 22, 2014 at 4:30 p.m..
The Parade hosted the Budweiser Clydesdales, a group of Clydesdale horses used for promotions and commercials by the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company. Their official home is at the company headquarters at the Anheuser-Busch brewery complex in St. Louis, Missouri. The Clydesdales are also used as animal actors in television commercials for Budweiser beer, particularly in Super Bowl ads.
“We have pursued the Clydesdales for several years now. Finally with the cooperation of the Evansville Christmas on Main Parade we were able to gather their attention and show them how serious we were about them participating,” said parade spokesperson.
