This is a particularly busy Saturday in Owensboro. Here is a rundown of some of the events in Owensboro this weekend:

Owensboro Home and Garden Show  @ Owensboro Convention Center

G-MAC Tournament @ Owensboro Sportscenter

Handing Back Event – Sat, March 5 @ Owensboro Convention Center, 6 p.m.

Willis Clan – Sat, March 5 @ RiverPark Center, 7 p.m

Owensboro’s Got Talent – Sat, March 5 @ Empress Theatre, 7 p.m.

Art Guild 54th Annual Juried Exhibition Reception – Sat, March 5 @ OMFA, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

1stWeekEnd Wonders & Hibernation Station at Western Kentucky Botanical Gardens

Arts4AllDay! @ RiverPark Center, 2 – 7 p.m.
A FREE community-wide collaboration of arts, music, dance and more! Free performances, events, and demonstrations will be going on throughout RiverPark Center as well as other venues downtown such as the International Bluegrass Music Museum, the Owensboro Symphony and the Museum of Science and History.  Some of the free events will include a Magician, Visual Art, dance performances, musicians, the Sutton Elementary School Percussion Club, Owensboro Middle School Vocal Academy, Barry Lanham’s Foot Stompin’ Express and Randy Lanham’s bluegrass student concert at the Bluegrass Museum, Diane Earle and much more!

Little Red Robin Hood presented by TWO at the Trinity Centre,  Fri 7 p.m., Sat 7 p.m. & Sun 2 p.m.

Sip n Putt Event – Sat, March 5 @ Museum of Science & History, 4-7 p.m.

Family Movie Matinee –  Sat, March 5 @ Daviess County Public Library, 2-4 p.m.

Mark Nizer-Kidstuff Series – Sat, March 5 @ RiverPark Center, 2 p.m.

Preservation Station Market Days
Over 45 locally owned shops in a 39,000 sq. ft. former elementary school located 10 miles west of Owensboro out scenic Hwy 56. Market Days are held the first full weekend of the month with over 100 vendors of antique, unique, boutique, vintage, and handcrafted items, live music, and food in a festive atmosphere!
