Specialty Foods Group will be hosting a Coat Donation Drive in coordination with the Owensboro Air Show on Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2, 2016, beginning each day at 1pm.
Donation boxes will be set up at the front desk inside the Convention Center.
“We are asking people who are coming downtown to view the air show to please stop in the Convention Center and donate a coat or other cold-weather accessory,” said Jeanette Goins, Marketing & Public Relations Manager for Owensboro Convention Center.
In addition to coats, items such as gloves, scarves, and hats will also be accepted.
All sizes/types of coats are needed, and all items collected will be given to the Owensboro Help Office.
