The Red, White and Blue Picnic will be on Thursday October 29, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on the Daviess County Courthouse Lawn.
Kentucky Gubernatorial Candidates Matt Bevin and Jack Conway are both confirmed to attend.
The Picnic will be the culmination of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce’s GO Vote Campaign which encourages all registered voters to show up at polls on election day.
“Exercising this basic right is not only a privilege, it is an obligation,” said Candance Castlen Brake, President and CEO. “The Chamber wants all citizens to participate in the process. We sometimes feel like Owensboro is left out of statewide conversations. In order to have a seat at the table, we need to demonstrate that we are paying attention.”
The Red, White and Blue Picnic is an opportunity to meet the statewide office seekers and to hear from each about their positions and policy initiatives.
All are encouraged to attend.
