For 35 years, Owensboro Dance Theatre has been Changing lives… one dance at a time. To celebrate this great achievement ODT will be hosting its 35th Anniversary Gala at O.Z. Tyler Distillery on Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 7 to 11pm.
You won’t want to miss the Motown sounds of Jimmy Church Band, listed #1 in Vogue Magazine’s “The Sound of Music: Best Bands.” You can also enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar featuring the “Bourbon Jazz” signature drink and souvenir glass with tickets at just $50 per person and table sponsorships available with additional benefits! There will also be a tour of O.Z. Tyler Distillery for $10 at 1pm on Saturday, June 3rd!
Owensboro Dance Theatre is a non-profit pre-professional dance company founded in 1982, dedicated to quality dance performance and education. In its 35th anniversary season, ODT has served over half a million community members and has an alumnus of over 600 people. ODT serves those in its community with its three annual productions and its extensive outreach and programming. ODT’s Triple A (Arts Access for All) outreach programs include: Dance/Movement/L.E.A.N., Rising Stars: Special Needs Dance Program, Parkinson’s Dance Therapy, Dance Ambassadors, Experience the Show, Teaching in Outreach, and Arts Partners. ODT is taking artistry to new heights, reaching all community members including those with special needs, Parkinson’s and other health conditions, refugees, and more, using the art of dance to keep “changing lives…one dance at a time.”
