On Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at approximately 8:00 a.m. the Owensboro Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred in the 1100 block of W. 4th Street.
The initial investigation has revealed that an adult male victim, identified as Daniel Williams, 32, had been standing in the alley when he received a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his hip.
There is no information as to the person(s) responsible for the shooting.
This investigation is ongoing.
