Owensboro Parks and Recreation is now accepting registration for 2017 Spring Adult Softball Leagues, Youth T-Ball Leagues, and Youth PGA Golf Leagues.
Spring Adult Softball Leagues
Hey, batter, batter, swing! The Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department Spring/Summer Adult Softball Leagues which will run April through July. League Nights will be Monday-Thursday with 10 regular season games and a double elimination tournament.
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We will not hold a team’s spot until team fee has been received.
Registrations and rosters must be submitted before 5 p.m. on Friday, March 17. The registration fee is $460 per team for Coed Recreational and Men’s Recreational. The registration fee is $360 per team for Coed Intermediate. These fees include NSA sanction and umpire fees. The winner and runner-up teams in each division, regular season and tournament in lieu of trophies, will receive 14 free t-shirts.
Games will take place at the Owensboro Softball Complex in Jack C. Fisher Park. Minimum age to play is 16 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parental consent.

Owensboro Parks Annual T-Ball League
Do you have a little one who has been asking to play T-ball?
Players 3-6-year-olds will learn how to bat off the tee, throw, catch, and field a ball and engage in team sportsmanship.
The league begins in May through July 14. All games will be played at the Owensboro Softball Complex located in Jack C. Fisher Park. The 3-4-year-old league will play on Mondays or Tuesdays evenings. The 5-6-year-old league will play on Thursday evenings. Game times will be at 5:45 p.m. or 6:50 p.m. for each league and will vary each week.
The registration fee is $56 per child. We are offering a Sibling Discount of $10 per child per for each additional sibling registered after the first child who resides in the same household. This discount is not applicable to scholarship campers. The deadline to register is March 31. Each child will receive a team T-shirt and hat.
It is recommended you register early for this fun and extremely popular program.

2017 PGA Youth League
Looking for a Competitive Youth Golf League for your child to complete in? Look no further, Ben Hawes Golf Course offers a PGA Jr. League. This is a great way for your child to improve his/her golf game in a team setting. Last year Ben Hawes, along with Owensboro County Club and Henderson Country
Club all fielded teams in this fun and exciting team format.
Through the months of May, June, and part of July, teams will play and practice on the Par 3 course. At the conclusion of the league, players will be selected to form an All-Star team that will compete to be the Kentucky State Champions.
Cost is $150 per player which includes a: PGA Junior League jersey, a hat, and PGA Jr. League bag tag. Contact Charles if you are interested in volunteering or coaching a team.
