Marshall Ventures is now taking applications for their very first “Pitch Day,” which will be held on Wednesday, September 2 at the Hampton Inn Waterfront.
Entrepreneurs will be given twenty minutes to pitch their business ideas followed by a short question and answer session.
The $2 Million Venture Fund is looking to invest up to $300,000 in high growth companies with proven leadership. Fund administrator Jamie Johnson says the ideal investment would have a likelihood for exit in a 2-4 year timeframe. “Though we have a preference for early stage, Kentucky based businesses, all businesses looking for investment capital are encouraged to apply,” she said.
In order to participate all companies must complete the funding application at www.marshallventures.com, by clicking “Apply for Funding” on the home page.
“Qualified applicants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis so apply early!” Johnson said.
This is not a public event and only Marshall Fund Members and qualified investors will be in attendance.
