Daviess County Public Library has partnered with the Daviess County Animal Shelter to bring you a night of fun that can only be described as the cat’s meow!
We are throwing a Crazy Cat Party and we want to see all cat lovers present and accounted for!
The Crazy Cat Party will take place after library hours on Saturday, April 23, 2016, from 6 – 8 p.m.
The Daviess County Animal Shelter will have cats at the party that are available for adoption. So if you’re looking to add another cat to your house, or you just want to play with some cats for a little bit, the library is the place to be. (If you are considering adoption, please bring a pet carrier with you to transport the cat home.)
We will also be having Crazy Cat Trivia, a cat-themed craft, and cat cake with milk to drink.
Funny cat videos from YouTube will be playing as entertainment.
For the cat craft, we will be making magnets out of cat pictures. The library will provide pictures of cats for you to use, but if you’d like to make your own cat into a magnet, please bring in a picture that is no more than 1” in diameter.
Please bring an item to donate to the Daviess County Animal Shelter to enter the prize drawing. Items to donate include good quality kitten chow or canned kitten food, clay (not scoopable) cat litter, and cat toys. The party will take place on the second floor in both the Public Lounge and the Children’s Programming Room.
Please join us for a purrrfectly catastic evening! Let’s celebrate our love of felines!
