Performances are scheduled from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for students visiting from other DCPS schools; and from 1:05 to 2 p.m. for Apollo High School students.
A special performance will begin at 6 p.m. for parents and the public. This is a wonderful opportunity to begin the holiday season with the heartwarming story of Marie and her beloved Nutcracker, and their journey through the magical candy-filled lands of make-believe.
In addition to Apollo’s special services students, other members of the Apollo Eagle Family student body are participating in the performance. Drama and Chorus students, under the direction of Ms. Sarah Elliott, will contribute their musical talents to this holiday celebration.
The performances are free and everyone is welcome. Donations to help offset costs of the play will be accepted.
The community is invited to support the many hours of hard work and dedication that have gone into preparing for this outstanding performance for family and friends. For more information, contact Millie Roberts, special services teacher; or Sarah Elliott, music/choir director, at Apollo High School, (270) 852-7100.
