Wendell Foster’s Campus is currently engaging volunteers who are seeking to make a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities, while creating a meaningful experience and impact in their own lives.
We are currently cultivating a network of volunteers to share their unique interests, hobbies and skills with individuals who live in our intermediate care facility, and that share similar interests, hobbies, and skills, their enthusiasm and passion for music, art, crafts, reading, martial arts, video games, the outdoors, etc. Make a difference in the life of someone by broadening his or her involvement and community connections through these social activities.
Teens who are interested in volunteering for the summer must be 16 years of age and complete and submit a volunteer application by Wednesday, June 3rd in order to schedule a volunteer interview and participate in volunteer orientations, set for the evenings of June 4th and June 11th. Additionally, teen volunteers must be willing to commit to a weekly visit of at least one hour per week. Wendell Foster’s Campus accepts volunteers of ages, so everyone is welcome!
