Owensboro Parks and Recreation is now taking registrations for the fall session of “The First Tee.”
The First Tee of Owensboro’s Mission is to impact the lives of young people in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana by providing a learning facility and educational programs that promote character-development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
First Tee Fall Session takes place at Ben Hawes Golf Course August 17 through September 29.
The Session fee for this program is $40, and the annual fee is $50. The Cost includes the lessons and Saturday open play on Par 3. Tuition assistance is available for families in need.
Listed below are the age groups, times available, and days that the lessons take place each week:
Age Group 5-6: Mondays 5-6 p.m.
Age Group 7-8: Mondays 6-7 p.m.
Age Group 9-12: Tuesdays 5-6 p.m.
Age Group 13-18 Tuesdays 6-7 p.m.
