The RiverPark Center, a downtown Owensboro institution, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. In honor of 25 years of providing performing arts to the tri-state, the RiverPark will host an anniversary celebration this Saturday, April 14th.
The show, which begins at 7 p.m., will include performances by Goldie Payne, International Bluegrass Music Museum, Owensboro Dance Theater, Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, and Theatre Workshop of Owensboro Youth Theater.
There will be an intermission, followed by a performance by Grammy Nominated Songwriter, Chart-Topping Performer, and World-Class Pianist, Jim Brickman.
When the show ends, the after party begins at 9 p.m. with a champagne toast! If someone can’t make the show, but they want to go to the after party, tickets for just the after party are available for only $50. The Top Tier band will be there to assist us in dancing the night away!
“RiverPark Center has been proud to serve the Owensboro/Daviess County community for the past 25 years, serving over 4 million visitors and over 800,000 students through our education programs,” said Roxi Witt, Executive Director. “None of this would be possible without the ongoing support of our donors, patrons, volunteers, subscribers, Board members, sponsors and local governments. As downtown continues to liven, we look forward to bringing even more exciting entertainment to the region!”
Tickets for the celebration are available on the RiverPark Center website for $75 – $100. The event is sponsored by Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline.
