The Daviess County Public Schools district will host a teacher recruitment fair from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Burns Middle School, 4610 Goetz Drive. Job candidates should plan to arrive before 5:30 p.m. to ensure adequate time for networking.
Potential teacher candidates are invited to attend to meet school principals and learn about DCPS schools and employment opportunities. Those attending are encouraged to take copies of their resume. They will also have the opportunity to submit online applications at this event.
All DCPS schools will be represented at this event by teachers and members of their leadership teams. The event will also include refreshments and giveaways.
The Daviess County Public Schools district serves approximately 11,500 students in preschool through grade 12, with 12 elementary schools, three middle schools and three high schools. The district offers outstanding support and resources for teachers who are dedicated to helping students reach their greatest potentials.
“We are looking for teachers who want to do something amazing with their lives, and nothing is more amazing and rewarding than changing the lives of students,” said Dr. Amy Shutt, DCPS assistant superintendent for human services. “We are changing lives every day in DCPS schools, and invite positive, dedicated educators to attend this recruitment fair to learn about opportunities to join our team.”
