Crews are making finishing touches on the new Planet Fitness location on 54. Several semis full of brand new equipment were being unloaded this morning.
Ken Horn, Director of Marketing for Planet Fitness, told Owensboro Living that the new Owensboro location will be opening on December 21 at the latest.
Ads already running on Pandora say it will open December 18.
Major renovations have been made to the 16,000 square foot facility located at 3621 Hwy 54, including the trademark purple color scheme.
