The Apollo High School Family Performers are presenting “A Dickens of a Christmas” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the AHS auditorium. The school is located at 2280 Tamarack Road.
The annual Christmas play is open free to the public; donations will be accepted at the door.
“A Dickens of a Christmas” is the classic tale of covetous miser Ebenezer Scrooge, brought to life with a powerful score and a Dickensian-style script that is sure to impress. When visited by the ghosts of Christmases past, present and future, Scrooge sees the coldness of his own humbug ways and learns to honor Christmas in his heart. Characters include Hunter Ross as Scrooge; Trevore Nave as Jacob Marley; Corey Ziemer as Bob Cratchit; and Jack Burton as Tiny Tim.
The Eagle Family Performers is a collaborative effort between the Special Services department, the Advanced Chorus and the Drama class, which is taught by April Berry.
