The Owensboro Police Department Crime Prevention Unit is preparing for the 2015 D.A.R.E. Golf Scramble and wants to invite you to participate.
The scramble will be held at Ben Hawes Golf Course on Friday, September 4th, with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
This important and fun yearly event is held to raise money for several programs designed to benefit the youth in our community. The programs are conducted throughout the school year by the Crime Prevention officers in our city schools and include:
- Juvenile Diversion Program
- Explorer Post 766
- D.A.R.E.
- Character Counts
The Owensboro Police Department appreciates the community’s support and wants to encourage you to participate in this great cause.
The deadline to register is Friday, August 28th.
Entry fee is $50/player or $200 team. Lunch and snacks provided.
