Want to help support those with autism? Eat at McDonald’s TONIGHT!
One of our readers informed Owensboro Living that Wendell Foster’s Campus-Kelly Austim Program (WFC-KAP) has teamed up with three area McDonald’s tonight for a fundraiser to support WFC-KAP. Proceeds will be used to help keep costs down for WFC-KAP families.
You have your choice; eat at Wesleyan Park Plaza, Frederica St. (by the mall), or Parrish Avenue from 4-7pm tonight and WFC-KAP will receive 15% of the profit. Drive-thru also counts! You don’t even have to mention WFC-KAP. Just go in or Drive-thru and buy your food all while supporting the program!
Jaime Rafferty, whose son Beau attends WFC-KAP and works at the Wesleyan Park Plaza McDonald’s, said “Our son is flourishing by learning social and independent living skills to help him continue to be successful in life with, or without, autism.”
