Dealing with loss will be the focus of Senior Moments taking place Thursday, Dec. 18 at Mount Saint Joseph Conference and Retreat Center, Maple Mount, Ky. (located 12 miles west of Owensboro on Hwy. 56). Throughout our lives, we experience many losses, not just people close to us, but the loss of anything that is important to us. A significant loss changes our world. We will look together at some ways to deal with the loss we experience in our lives. Senior citizens in particular are encouraged to attend. The event begins at 10 a.m. and ends after lunch is served at 12:30 p.m. There is a $20 fee.

The facilitator will be Sister Ann McGrew, OSU. Sister Ann, director of the Retreat Center, has a master’s in religious studies from Loyola University in Chicago and is a member of the coordinating team of the Spiritual Direction Training Program offered at the Center. To register, contact Kathy McCarty at 270-229-0206 or [email protected] Find out more at www.ursulinesmsj.org under Conference & Retreat Center.
