Jenny Beth Willis and Randy Lanham are teaming up to sell their CD’s and downloads during the month of December to raise money for Crossroads Inc, a local non-profit that is renovating a building in Owensboro to open a women’s emergency homeless shelter. Find out more about Crossroads at www.crossroadsowensboro.org or contact Michele Ison at 270-313-5943.

Jenny Beth recorded her CD in Nashville and it was produced by country star Wade Hayes and co-produced by Dave McAfee, band leader for Toby Keith. The musicians playing on the songs are some of the best in Nashville and happens to be Toby Keith’s band, along with Randy Lanham playing fiddle. The CD has six songs on it, three of which are original songs written by Jenny Beth and Randy, and one of them co-written with Natasha Neely Henry.

Randy Lanham and Friends CD “A Fiddler’s Prayer” is made up of 14 songs, all older hymns and gospel music with the title song being an original, A Fiddler’s Prayer. Randy brought in many of his musician and singer friends to play and sing on different songs including Wade Hayes, Jenny Beth Willis, Joe Christian, Wayne Morris, Blackberry Jam, Skylar Cain, Annabelle Watts, Leland Isbill, Kaleb Scharmahorn, David Morris, Emily and Mark Shelton, John Lanham, Bill Lanham, Skylar Lanham, Richard Clark, and Chris Armstrong.

Both CD’s are available at Owensboro Music Center, Norman McDonald’s Restaurant, and House of Hair or you can order a copy at www.crossroadsowensboro.org. All songs are available for download at itunes, Amazon, CD Baby, and other popular online music stores. There will be a CD release party at Owensboro Music Center on Monday, December 29th at 7pm.

Any check can be made out to Crossroads Inc. and mailed to 2400 Friendship Dr. Suite B, Owensboro, KY 42303. All donations are tax deductible and 100% of all money raised from CD sales will go directly to the organization to help with renovations. Crossroads is also looking for volunteers and donations for the following services and products:

  • Electric hot water heater (40-60 gallon)
  • Carpet & installation
  • Tile for floor
  • Doors
  • Plumber to supervise the planning and installation of ADA compliant bathroom
  • ADA compliant bathroom fixtures
