The Owensboro Symphony Alliance presents the Christmas Tour of Homes. This years tour offers six beautifully decorated homes for ticket holders to tour at their own pace. The tour date is Saturday, December 13th from 12:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. While touring the homes, holiday music will be played by a variety of talented Owensboro musicians. Refreshments and hot beverages will be provided at Pure Barre in Wesleyan Park Plaza along with additional tickets for purchase.
This year offers a special visit with – live from the North Pole – “Elf on the Shelf” at Pure Barre in Wesleyan Park Plaza. Attendees are invited to bring their camera and celebrate with their children or grandchildren, five years or older and to take a photo alongside the real live “Elf on the Shelf.” Each home will have an “Elf on the Shelf” displayed among their decorations. Tourists will enjoy trying to find the Elf at each home making note on a contest card to be submitted once complete. The cards with all correct answers will be entered into a drawing to win a special prize.
The Christmas Tour of Homes tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children 5-12 years old. Tickets may be purchased at the Owensboro Symphony Academy at 211 East Second Street or by calling 270-684-0661.
The Owensboro Symphony Alliance holds the Christmas Tour of Homes as a fundraiser to benefit the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra’s Educational Programs. The programs reach children of all ages and socio-economic background. These programs include “Meet the Maestro”, Symphony Story Time, Arts Teach Kids, Owensboro Youth Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Safari, and more.
