Known as “The Party of the Year,” the Big O Music Fest is set to once again take Kentucky by storm.

The rain or shine event will be held at Reid’s Orchard on Hwy 144 in Owensboro Saturday, August 13. Fans can expect high energy shows with a powerhouse lineup of artists like

  • Billy Currington,
  • .38 Special,
  • Mark Chesnutt,
  • Lauren Alaina,
  • Sundy Best,
  • Big Smo,
  • Adam Wakefield from NBC’s The Voice,
  • and more.

Gates open at noon and music starts at 1pm for all ages. Tickets are $52.50 for general admission  and $128.95 for VIP. A portion of the ticket price is donated to the Make A Wish foundation. Additional information is available at bigOmusicfest.com.

“When you look at our lineup, and compare it to similar music festivals around the country, I think anyone would have a hard time finding a better value,” said Steve Terry, a promoter with The Big O Music Fest. “There is a little bit of something for everyone.”

The annual Big O Music Fest has been a huge part in helping Owensboro, KY become a true destination city. “We sell tickets all over the country, and we‘re very proud of the fact that we bring people to Owensboro, many for the first time, which in turn helps stimulate our local economy” said Terry.

Now in its eighth year, the Big O Music Fest has featured top-tier talent from the country/rock music scene. Previous headliners include Jason Aldean, Gary Allan, Randy Houser, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, and Hank Williams Jr.

The event will have a true festival atmosphere with food, drinks, t-shirts, and souvenirs, along with attractions such as a mechanical bull and the military “Pull Up Challenge.” And of course, a full day of live entertainment!

The promoters bill the show as “The Party of the Year,” and with over 12,000 in attendance last year, it would be hard to argue.
