Cinderella’s Closet of Western Kentucky will host a community-wide dress drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Owensboro Christian Church, located at 2818 New Hartford Road, Owensboro. Donors should use Entrance “D.”
Members of our community are invited to donate gently used formal gowns; gently used formal shoes; formal jewelry; or monetary donations.
Cinderella’s Closet provides formalwear to girls who otherwise could not afford to attend their high school proms. Through generous donations of pre-loved formal dresses and accessories that are still in excellent condition, Cinderella’s Closet is able to “turn dresses into dreams” for high school juniors and seniors throughout western Kentucky who are referred to our organization through their schools.
Even more than a dress, Cinderella’s Closet provides an unforgettable, amazing experience for these young ladies. From the moment our princesses dance through the doors, they are greeted with an environment of grace, love, and respect. It is our mission that they leave knowing they are cherished. In 2016, with your help Cinderella’s Closet of Western Kentucky will make the dreams of nearly 100 girls come true. Be a part of something truly special!
All donations are tax deductible. A tax receipt will be provided as items are received.
Here’s a look back at last year’s event.
