Burns Middle School is hosting its first-ever “Back to School” Carnival, and everyone is invited!
The event features rides, games, food and fun for all. The carnival is open from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27; and from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Aug. 28-29, at the school, located at 4610 Goetz Drive.
This event features a variety of rides, games, and booths. Those attending will have the opportunity to take pictures with friends and family using a variety of props at the “Selfie Station” or dunk a member of the BMS cheerleading squad at the Dunking Booth. A Spin-to-Win booth offers the chance to win prizes donated by local businesses and members of the community.
In addition to rides and booths, Big Bang Toys Comics & Games will provide life-size games and other gaming demonstrations from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. On Saturday evening, the Pangea Café food truck will be at BMS serving up delicious meals.
Thursday is also Family Night. All rides and booths will begin at 6 p.m. On this night only, visitors may purchase a bracelet for $15 that includes unlimited rides. Single tickets will also be available. Cost for unlimited ride bracelets is $22 from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with single tickets available both those evenings as well.
