Big O Entertainment, Owensboro, KY’s premier entertainment and
production company, has finalized the artist lineup for the 8th annual
Big O Music Festival.
Known as the “party of the year” Big O is set for Saturday, August 13 at
Reid’s Orchard.
The entertainment for this year’s Big O Music Fest is a powerhouse lineup,
with a slightly different edge than years past. The event will include:
- fan favorite Billy Currington,
- classic rockers .38 Special,
- Mark Chesnutt,
- Lauren Alaina,
- Sundy Best,
- Big Smo,
- Adam Wakefield from NBC’s The Voice,
- and more.
“When you look at our lineup, and compare it to similar music festivals
around the country, I think anyone would have a hard time finding a better
value”, said Steve Terry, a promoter with The Big O Music Fest. “There is
a little bit of something for everyone.”
The date for The Big O Music Fest is August 13. The event will be held at
Reid’s Orchard on Hwy 144 in Owensboro. Gates open at noon, and music
starts at 1p.m.
With all that’s happening in the city right now, The Big O Music Fest has
been a huge part in helping Owensboro become a true destination city.
“We sell tickets all over the country, and we‘re very proud of the fact that
we bring people to Owensboro, many for the first time, which in turn helps
stimulate our local economy,” said Terry.
The event will be a true festival atmosphere with food, drinks, t-shirt and
souvenir sales, along with attractions such as a mechanical bull and the
military “Pull Up Challenge”.
And, of course, a full day of great music.
Last year’s crowd rose to over 12,000 in attendance.
