The Owensboro Police Department has charged two adult males in connection with eight theft cases and one burglary case that occurred between November 15 and November 19.
Detectives received information from the Evansville Police Department on Friday, November 20 informing them that James A. Hatfield and Mark L. Hatfield had been arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle. Some items located in that vehicle were linked to our theft cases from the subdivisions of Lake Forest, the Heartlands, and the Brooks. The continuing investigation has also led to the recovery of more property in Ohio and Warren counties.
Both persons are currently lodged in the Vanderburgh County Detention Center and will be facing additional charges that relate to our cases.
