The Tot, The Teen and The Wardrobe Consignment Sale
Over 50,000 items from 350 consignors will be sold Saturday April 28th 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. with a Half Off Sale Sunday April 29th 12-3 p.m. at the Owensboro Boys and Girls Club, 3415 Buckland Square, Owensboro, KY 42301. The sale is organized by Jennifer Higdon and Stephanie Higdon, who are sisters-in-law. This is the 24th sale the two have produced. Furniture, home décor, baby equipment, clothing for the whole family, toys galore, music, books, sports equipment, bikes, framed prints, and so much more will be available. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted. There is no admission fee. The sale is open to the public.

2nd Annual Community Arbor Day
Join Daviess County Fiscal Court and City of Owensboro as they celebrate the 2nd Annual Community Arbor Day on Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Yellow Creek Park (Shelter #3). All you have to do is show up — all tools and snacks and drinks will be provided. You can help plant 500 trees! The first 100 volunteers will receive a free eastern redbud to take home.
6th Annual Run from the Cops 5K Run/Walk
Join Owensboro Police Department for an event like no other! Costumes are welcome — dress up in your best cop or robber outfit for your chance to win a special prize after the race!

Daviess County March of Dimes – March for Babies
Teams walk as a fundraiser to give every baby a chance at a healthy start in life. The event starts in downtown Owensboro’s beautiful Smothers Park with registration at 8 a.m. and opening ceremonies at 9 a.m., then a 2-mile walk downtown. The festival site will have lots of fun things to do with face painting, donated food, drinks, signage, banners, and inflatables. Make this a family fun event marching for a great cause. Owensboro River City Kennel Club Open House
An educational event for the public to attend, the ORCKC invites the public to see some of the elements of activities of rally, obedience, conformation, and grooming for all breeds event and for those that are not pure bred. Microchipping and free educational material will be available for the event, held at 12 p.m. at Legion Park.
Little Big Shots Fundraiser for Volunteer Owensboro
The show starts at 7 p.m. at TWO Empress Theatre in downtown Owensboro. The talent show will feature kids ages 12 and under and will be filmed for Spectrum channel 8 in Owensboro.
