The Thoroughbreds play the Nevada Desert Dogs in a 3-game home standoff! Tickets for the weekend will be general admission for $6 to say thank you to loyal fans. Sunday, anyone under the age of 12 will get in free and the Thoroughbreds will host an Easter egg hunt in the SportsCenter with special prizes.

This class will provide an experience in constructing and manipulating string marionettes and will be taught by museum educator Rocky Cecil. Weisenberg’s silver and agate pendant necklace entitled “Parral Moonlight,” won the juror’s Honorable Mention award in that exhibition. Meet the real life story of ‘Sally’ or Mary Anning from England, who at the age of twelve discovered a 200 million year old fossil along the seashore of her hometown! This young fossilist was born in 1799 and became famous for her discoveries! We will share the stories of other famous fossil hunters from around the world and close the program with an activity called Build-a-Bone! Come enjoy stories with Susan Fowler of explorations & discoveries and a make a creative art project to take home!

In his awesome books, we meet the imagination of Dr. Seuss as it comes to life in very unusual creatures that tell us stories! The drive-in will officially open weekends starting on Friday, April 6. While this drive-in operates with five screens, they will start the season with just two screens and add other screens as the season progresses.

Join for a H.O.P. program about our region’s Native Americans and what they ate during the spring months! Visitors will also explore the foods, customs and stories of “The Three Sisters” and have a chance to learn about healthy eating habits at the same time! They will gather around the Portable Demo Kitchen and discover the value of eating corn, beans and squash and much more! Everyone can try some of the food we prepare and take home activity and recipe cards! This program is supported by Owensboro Health and the Junior League of Owensboro.
