Special needs students at Daviess County High School will enjoy a magical evening on Saturday, April 23, as DCHS and Kentucky Wesleyan College have partnered to make prom a night to remember.
Students will meet in front of the high school at 5 p.m. Saturday to ride a limousine to Kentucky Wesleyan College, where a special dinner will be served to them and a photographer will be on hand to capture the evening in pictures. The dinner and photographs are provided free of charge by the Kentucky Wesleyan Education and Art departments.
Following dinner, the limo will transport students to the Hines Center to enjoy the Daviess County High School prom. The prom theme this year is “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Thanks to the dedication of our DCHS special services staff and administrators, and our community and education partners at Wesleyan, a dream really will come true for our special needs students on Saturday night.
