A winter storm warning is in effect for Owensboro from 9:00 p.m. Thursday through Friday evening. A combination of ice, sleet, and snow is expected. The city’s Street Department maintenance crews will be treating roads at approximately 3:00 a.m. and will continue 24 hour operations throughout this event.
