West Louisville Elementary Says Thanks

Students and staff members at West Louisville Elementary School will celebrate the season of Thanksgiving by expressing appreciation to local organizations, businesses and churches who provide important services to our community.

The program is being sponsored by the WLES Lighthouse team/Parent and Community Engagement Committee.

BridgeWay Family Resource Center coordinator Heather McCarty said, “The school wants to recognize our community partners who have generously given their time and resources to our students and families. We will be thanking them in a special way for their support of our school. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in the West Louisville area.”

A recognition ceremony is planned from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at the school, located at 8400 Kentucky 56. Representatives from the following organizations have been invited to attend:
