Travis Ray Chaney, CFP™, CMC®, CEO of Dynamic Directions and a Franchise Consultant with Ameriprise Financial, was named the Ameriprise 2014 Franchise Consultant of the Year at the Ameriprise Leadership Conference on January 6 in Orlando, Florida.
Chaney earned the award on the basis of his spectacular results. The financial advisors he coaches grew as much as 78 percent more than the national average at Ameriprise in recent production results. He has also coached several advisors to achieve Barron’s Top 1,200 and Barron’s Top 100 Female status.
Chaney uses a variety of proven coaching models for maximum impact, including one-on-one coaching sessions, live workshops, virtual office visits and webinars – all geared to create better advisors by reaching them in the way that works best for them.
The award was also based on his overall leadership. Seeing a need for advisors to become more entrepreneurial, in 2014 Chaney created Inner Circle Entrepreneur (www.innercircleleader.com) to provide proven business training and networking for successful entrepreneurs who want to move from success to significance. A dozen of his clients have recognized the value of even more intensive coaching and have joined the program.
Because of his interest in youth sports, Travis has also applied entrepreneurial principles to co-found Kids Football League (www.kidsfootballleague.com). The league has grown to include 520 kids in just two years and Travis’ fundraising efforts have helped raise over $200,000 in two years to fund the league.
Chaney graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College and received his Certified Master Coach designation from the Behavioral Coaching Institute. He also received the Ameriprise Franchise Consultant of the Year Award in 2010. Chaney is a full partner in Watson, Chaney and Associates, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services and will celebrate his 20th year anniversary with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. on February 1, 2015.
