The Owensboro Junior Golf Foundation is a First Tee Life Skill Provider. Its Mission is to impact the lives of young people in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana by providing a learning facility and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
Spring-Summer Session takes place at Ben Hawes Golf Course April 11-May 23. The Session fee is $40, and the annual family fee is $50. The Cost includes lessons and Saturday open play on the Par 3.
Ages 5-6 Mondays 5-6 p.m.
Ages 7-8 Mondays 6-7 p.m.
Ages 9-12 Tuesdays 5-6 p.m.
Ages 13-18Tuesdays 6-7 p.m.
(Advanced) 12-18 Wednesdays 5-6 p.m.

Softball
The Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department is currently taking registrations for the Spring/Summer Adult Softball Leagues. Teams may register for one of the following league nights:
- Wednesdays (Coed Recreational and Intermediate)
- Thursdays (Men’s Recreational)
Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. We will not hold a team’s spot until team fee has been received.
Registrations and rosters must be submitted before 5 p.m. on Friday, March 18. The registration fee is $450 per team for Coed Recreational and Men’s Recreational. The registration fee is $350 per team for Coed Intermediate. These fees included NSA sanction fees.
Games will take place at the Owensboro Softball Complex in Jack C. Fisher Park, and are scheduled to begin the week of April 13. Minimum age to play is 16 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parental consent.
