Owensboro Health is partnering with local law enforcement agencies, offering area families a free opportunity to have car and booster seats professionally checked and installed.
As part of the event, instructors from Kosair Children’s Hospital, the Owensboro Police Department, and the Kentucky State Police will participate in the check.
Through a grant provided by Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana, Owensboro Health Foundation is also funding the training of 10 technicians, who will earn their national child passenger safety certification as part of the event.
The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, August 25, at Owensboro Health’s New Hartford Road location (located in the former Atmos Energy building).
