The Owensboro High School Football team has a new general on the sidelines. 28-year-old Jay Fallin has been named head football coach for the Red Devils. Fallin has served as an OHS assistant coach for the past five seasons. He’s replacing Joe Prince who resigned after this past football season to become the head football coach at Fauquier High School in Warrenton, VA.
“Coach Prince is a man of great integrity, and he always did the right things. We will continue to do the right things,” said Jay Fallin, OHS Head Football Coach.
“When you have a program that’s not broken, you’re not looking for a repairman to fix it,” said Chris Gaddis, OPS District Athletic Director.
Fallin graduated from Hancock County High School in 2005 and in 2010 completed his degree at Kentucky Wesleyan where he played football for the Panthers. He currently teaches social studies at OHS.
