Today marked the 64th annual National Day or Prayer. Locally, a crowd gathered at the Daviess County Courthouse Lawn in downtown Owensboro. Attendees participated in the Circle of Good News, an event where the entire Bible is read out loud in about 20 minutes. It takes 350 people. Each person is given a starting place in the Bible and at 11:30 ameveryone starts reading at the same time. In this way the entire Bible gets read. A worship service and time of prayer followed.
