Anyone interested in working at Owensboro’s soon-to-be-opened Mellow Mushroom can apply online now. A “now hiring” sign was placed in the window yesterday.
“We put the sign up to get people interested, but we’re handling all hiring online,” Matt Holderfield, Area Manager for both Owensboro and Bowling Green locations, told OwensboroLiving this morning. The website lists available positions for servers, kitchen help and host/carryout. Click on either of those links to apply online.
Holderfield said there will also likely be a job fair once an opening date is set, which is on target to be the end of the first quarter.
Renovations to the building at 101 W. 2nd Street have taken longer than expected, but things are progressing quickly now. “It’s exciting to see a roof going over our heads. It’s moving forward!” Holderfield said.
