It’s a busy weekend for the Kentucky Mavericks.
The Lady Mavs are hosting a Dance Clinic Saturday morning at the Mavericks Training Facility (817 W 1st Street). The clinic is for girls age 3 – 18 and will be held from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Lady Mavs will teach the girls a dance routine to perform at halftime of the game that night. The clinic will cover hip-hop choreography, beginner & advanced Jazz techniques, sharp arm movements, and floor choreography. Lunch is provided. Walk up registration is $35, which includes a Mavs shirt to wear at the game that night.
Saturday night, Feb 27, the Mavs play at home against the Indianapolis Diesels Tip off will be at 7 p.m. in the Owensboro Sportscenter.
The Kentucky Mavericks lead the Premier Basketball League in points per game and point differential.
Audubon Area Community Services is sponsoring Saturday night’s game with fun activities planned throughout the night.
The Sportscenter box office opens at 4 p.m. Saturday.
