Owensboro Living heard from LongHorn Steakhouse today, who said the Owensboro location will officially open on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at 3 p.m. for dinner, and regular hours will begin the next day at 11 a.m.
The new LongHorn is located at 2974 Heartland Crossing Blvd., and will be led by Joe Jones as Managing Partner, a LongHorn veteran of more than 8 years.
To get an idea of what to expect at the new restaurant, a release says the brand prides itself on friendly service and restaurant atmosphere, which celebrates the natural beauty of the American West with interiors featuring contemporary artwork and sculptures of horses, western landscapes and sunsets complemented by warm tones, wood and stone.
The menu features “a wide variety of fresh, never frozen, steak cuts – like our famous bone-in Outlaw Ribeye® – that are hand-seasoned, then expertly grilled by a Certified LongHorn Grill Master. Beyond our steaks, we offer fresh grilled chicken, fresh Atlantic salmon marinated in our homemade brown sugar bourbon sauce, and fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs that are slow roasted for four hours and basted in our homemade barbecue sauce. Entrées come with honey-wheat bread baked fresh every 20 minutes and with delicious side dishes like our Steakhouse Mac & Cheese.”
Lunch combinations are available for under $10.
Hours of operation will be:
- Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
- Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m
