We’re celebrating health, food and the arts at the final Harvest Market of the year, which takes place this Wednesday, September 2nd, from 1:30-5:30pm at the Owensboro Health parking lot (1201 Pleasant Valley Road). The theme for this Harvest Market is Fall Harvest and Arts in Medicine.
This art-themed Harvest Market will include live performances by the Owensboro Dance Theatre, Theatre Workshop of Owensboro, Back Alley Musicals, Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, and International Bluegrass Music Association. The RiverPark Center, Owensboro Museum of Science and History, Owensboro Museum of Fine Art, and musician Randy Lanham will also be present.
Other vendors include: Morrison gourmet popcorn samples, UK Extension Office (Master Gardeners and Family/Consumer Sciences), OneHealth @ Work, Healthpark, and diabetes education provided by Owensboro Health Outpatient Pharmacy.
A Fitbit and bicycle will be given away, as well as healthy snacks and other free gifts while supplies last. Giveaways include: Strawberry re-usable grocery bags, collapsible water bottles, grape buddies, and T-shirts.
Harvest Markets are FREE and open to everyone.
