Mayor Watson and the City of Owensboro invite the public to a Walk of Fame presentation at Yellow Creek Park on Friday, June 23rd. The City of Owensboro is honored to recognize multi-Grammy Award winning artist and Owensboro’s own, Kevin Olusola from ‘Pentatonix.’ A presentation and short performance will take place at 6:45 p.m. on the main stage at the ROMP Music Festival.
“Kevin will showcase his celloboxing for a short performance during the presentation to induct him into the Walk of Fame downtown and the plaque will be added to the other plaques on 2nd Street in the coming weeks,” said Tim Ross, Director of Public Events for the City of Owensboro.
The project, organized by the Walk of Fame Advisory Board, celebrates famous Owensboro natives.
