Kennan Burton will speak to parents and students about leadership at Foust elementary on Feb. 2 at 6 p.m.
Burton was a standout wide receiver for the University of Kentucky. In 2008, Burton was drafted by the St. Louis Rams where he played in the NFL for three years.
“We are so excited to have a former NFL football player speak to our parents and students about the right way to live your life,” said Sherry Baber, Hager Preschool Director.
Burton, now retired from the NFL, is a motivational speaker who travels all around the country giving inspiring speeches. But, Burton also has a local connection to OPS.
“Kennan regularly attends Hager Preschool events as his twin sister’s child attends Hager Preschool. Kennan is an awesome young man and is crazy about his niece,” said Baber.
The public is invited to attend Burton’s speech at Foust elementary.
