Through the month of October, both First Security Bank locations will be collecting items and monetary donations for the Help Office. Employees, customers, business partners and community members are encouraged to make those donations at either bank location – 313 Frederica Street or 3560 Frederica Street, during normal banking hours.
“The Help Office is an extremely important organization in Daviess County, having served more than 14,000 individuals last year. We wanted to do our part to make sure the Help Office is stocked and ready to serve when services are needed, especially as we move into the fall and winter months,” said Amy Jackson, Owensboro Market President. “We have great employees, customers, and friends who we know will help us provide some of the things they need.”
Items can include monetary donations, as well as non-perishable food products, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. A full list of helpful items can be found at First Security Bank, or on the Help Office website at http://www.owensborohelpoffice.org/.
On November 2, First Security Bank will deliver all the collected goods and services to the Help Office.
