Fall Break Skating Sessions at Edge Ice Center
The Edge Ice Center will be open for weekday public skating the week of October 12 while local schools are on fall break. Sessions will be held Monday through Friday, Noon – 4:00p.m. Admission is $5 per person and includes skate rental.

The Edge Ice Center is located at 1400 Hickman Avenue, next to the Owensboro Sportscenter. For more information about public skating times, birthday parties, lessons, private rentals, and group rates please call the Edge at 270-687-8720 during business hours Tuesday through Friday noon to 5 p.m., or visit our website at www.owensboroparks.org.

Smothers Park Concession Stand Hours 
Smothers Park is the perfect place to bring your family and friends to have fun and enjoy the outdoors! The concession stand located within Smothers Park will be open during Fall Break Saturday, October 10 – Sunday, October 18 from 11a.m. – 8 p.m.

Concession stand hours may vary depending on weather conditions and special events.

Dugan Best
Also during Fall Break, Dugan Best Recreation Center will be open from noon until 8 p.m. The center will be closed on Sunday, October 18.

Located at 1003 Omega Street, the center’s amenities include a gymnasium, a game room complete with pool tables, foosball, table tennis, and air hockey; a fully equipped fitness room; and computer stations. Games and activities will be scheduled daily.

Anyone less than 8 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 17 or older. There is no charge to use the center.

Normal operating hours while schools are in session are as follows:
· Monday – Friday – 2:30 to 7 p.m.
· Saturday – noon to 8 p.m.
· Sunday – Closed
