The Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation (GO-EDC) launched a complete redesign of its website yesterday.
The new website combines a comprehensive listing of information, resources and data coupled with a responsive design that can be viewed easily on devices. It aims to provide comprehensive information to:
- site selectors gathering information for relocating clients
- entrepreneurs interested in starting a business
- and existing regional businesses looking for resources for growth and capital investment
“Our website is often a businessʼs first look at our community and is our greatest sales person,” said Madison Silvert, President and CEO of GO-EDC. “I am thrilled with the new direction and the ease of use of the site.”
For entrepreneurs, the GO-EDC site also includes “Start Your Business” and “Existing Business” sections that will provide resources and information for people looking to start a business and existing businesses looking for support and resources to build their workforce or grow their current business.
The site also features the organizationʼs executive investors and includes:
- resources for job seekers
- workforce training
- a major employers listing
- recent expansion and location information
- and news
GO-EDC worked with a local company, Red Pixel Studios, on the redesign and thanks them for their insight on current popular design trends.
The data portion pulls the most up-to-date data information from Statebook International (statebook.com), a proprietary online site selection marketplace that enables economic development organizations to showcase their community.
