The Owensboro Police Department Crime Prevention Unit is preparing for the 2017 D.A.R.E. Golf Scramble and wants to invite you to participate.
The scramble will be held at Ben Hawes Golf Course on Friday, September 1, 2017, with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
This important and fun yearly event is held to raise money for several programs designed to benefit the youth in our community. The programs are conducted throughout the school year by the Crime Prevention officers in our city and Catholic schools and include:
- Juvenile Diversion Program
- Explorer Post 766
- Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.)
- Character Counts
The Owensboro Police Department appreciates the community’s support and wants to encourage you to participate in this great cause.
The deadline to register is Friday, August 25th.
Prizes will be given for:
- 1st, 2nd, and other team prizes
- Closest to the pin
- Longest putt
Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Cost is $50 per player / $200 team. (4 person team)
