On Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, Brescia University will ceremonially close its gymnasium at the conclusion of the last women’s and men’s regular season home basketball games.
The University will begin renovations on the Campus Center in May.
Among other cosmetic changes, renovations will include:
- a new expanded gymnasium and walking track
- a remodeled cafeteria
- the construction of a new enrollment center
- and the addition of a health and wellness center.
To help commemorate the day, all alumni are invited to join current students, faculty, and staff and will receive complimentary admission passes.
The University will also honor its senior players on the women’s and men’s basketball teams.
The women’s game begins at 1 p.m. and the men’s game at 3 p.m. with a reception between games.
The closing ceremony will be held immediately at the conclusion of the men’s game.
