The L. Steve Castlen Realty Off Leash Dog Park is having another fundraiser this Saturday night, November 12, 2016, at the Owensboro Country Club.

The evening starts at 5:30 p.m. and includes drinks, DJ, and heavy hors D’oeuvres.

Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at Castlen Realty Office, 2839 New Hartford Road, Owensboro, Kentucky 42303.

Co-chair Sandy Deyton says there’s going to be some special dog-themed fun planned for the evening. “Chase from Paw Patrol will be on hand to greet our guests. And our food has names like ‘Fetch a Stick’ (prosciutto wrapped bread sticks) and ‘Paw-tato chips.’ Justin Crandall is the chef.”

There will also be a silent auction. Items include:

  • Decor items from local boutiques
  • Autographed Football from Indianapolis Colts
  • Cincinnati Reds Tickets
  • UofL Tickets
  • Holiday Inn Hotel One Night Stay
  • Dapper Dog Baskets
  • St. Louis Cardinal Tickets
  • Golf passes
  • and much more….

The committee is still seeking donations for the dog park, even if you’re not able to attend the event.

Deyton says a groundbreaking will be scheduled at a November 15 meeting. We will keep you posted.

Call 270-929-0088 for more info, or follow Castlen Dog Park on Facebook.
